With roles in the adult social care (ASC) sector as important as ever, the Scottish Government is launching a brand new campaign aimed at recruiting frontline workers into the sector and promoting ASC as a rewarding job with opportunities for career development.

It is illegal in Scotland to carry pyrotechnics, such as flares and fireworks, in public places, including at sporting and live music events.

The ‘Parenting Teens’ campaign marks the first Parent Club campaign which focuses on providing hints and tips specifically to the parents of S2-S4 teenagers.

The Mind to Mind campaign launches today and highlights the dedicated NHS inform website designed to help people who may be facing challenges with their mental wellbeing. 

Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week launched today and is running until Sunday 8 October. This year has kicked off with a campaign film featuring Footballer Leanne Crichton, a Scotland International Player with 72 caps, who encourages all women and girls to get involved. 

This years' Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week takes place from Monday 2 October - Sunday 8 October, and we're inviting every single woman and girl in Scotland to get involved.
