This years' Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week takes place from Monday 30 September - Sunday 6 October, and we're encouraging all women and girls to lead the way by providing opportunities to celebrate the many ways they can be leaders. 

As we prepare to launch “Stories for Change” for Scotland’s Climate Week 2024 on Monday 23 September we wanted to remind you of some additional story ideas to help you plan your activity and highlight our social channels which will be bursting with inspiring stories for you to share.

Today, the Scottish Government, including the Scottish Safety Camera Programme, is launching a new road safety campaign to tackle speeding. With 1 in 5 deaths on Scotland’s roads caused by speeding, drivers are urged to slow down to help reduce collisions and casualties.

Marking 30 years of the NHS Organ Donor Register, Organ and Tissue Donation Week provides an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of organ and tissue donation and remind people to make their donation decision known.

Today marks the launch of the new 'Rethink Dementia' campaign, in partnership with COSLA.

The 'Home First' approach brings together different strands of support to allow patients to recover at home once their need for clinical treatment is complete. 

To help promote Pharmacy First services in Scotland two stakeholder toolkits are now available: one specifically for women's health services and one for general services.

Scotland’s Climate Week, held annually since 2016, brings together communities and organisations across the country to support climate action. This year, Climate Week will run from 23 – 29 September and the focus will be on sharing “Stories for Change”.
