Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week - 2 to 8 November 2026

We're just one week away!

This year marks a special milestone as we celebrate a Decade of Women and Girls in Sport Week and ten years of championing women’s and girls’ participation, visibility and success in sport and physical activity across Scotland.

Over the past decade, the week has helped shine a spotlight on the achievements of women and girls in sport, challenge barriers to participation, and inspire more people to get active. It's also been a platform for sharing stories, celebrating success, and driving positive change across communities throughout Scotland.

As we prepare to mark this landmark anniversary, it's a chance to look back at how far we've come while continuing to build momentum for the future.

We look forward to celebrating with you next week and see the fantastic stories, events and activities taking place across Scotland.

 Campaign Resources

A Women and Girls in Sport Stakeholder Toolkit has been produced which includes posters, social images and copy designed to support the Week and help celebrate ten years of Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week.

You can access all campaign assets via the SG Communications Resource Centre - Women and Girls in Sport Week 2026
