Organ Donation Week 2024

This year’s Organ and Tissue Donation Week will take place from 23 - 29 September 2024.

As ever, we’ll be encouraging people in Scotland to make their donation decision known and we plan to issue a stakeholder toolkit in early September, to help you plan content ahead of the week.  A template launch press release will also be supplied to help you promote the week in your area.

The NHS Organ Donor Register celebrates its 30th birthday this year, so for the 2024 Organ and Tissue Donation Week we will be Turning the Skies Pink again and we ask for your help to get as many local landmarks and buildings across the country to turn pink, to help raise awareness of the incredible gift of organ and tissue donation, and to encourage people to register their donation decision and tell their families and friends.
