Get ready for Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week 2026!
This year’s Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week will take place from Monday 2 - Sunday 8 November 2026.
This year marks a significant milestone as we celebrate a Decade of Women and Girls in Sport Week, recognising a decade of championing women’s and girls’ participation, visibility and success in sport and physical activity across Scotland.
Over the past decade, Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week has played an important role in highlighting the achievements of women and girls in sport, tackling barriers to participation, and inspiring more people to get active. This year’s campaign provides an opportunity to reflect on the progress made while continuing to build momentum for the future.
The week continues to play a vital role in promoting the visibility and participation of women and girls in sport and physical activity and highlighting the many physical, mental and social benefits that being active can bring.
Campaign Resources
A Women and Girls in Sport Stakeholder Toolkit has been produced which includes posters, social images and copy designed to support the Week and help celebrate ten years of Scottish Women and Girls in Sport Week.
You can access all campaign assets via the SG Communications Resource Centre - Women and Girls in Sport Week 2026
