COVID-19 vaccine - children aged 6 months to 4 years at higher risk
Public Health Scotland (PHS) has launched a Stakeholder Toolkit to raise awareness that the COVID-19 vaccine is now recommended for children aged 6 months to 4 years who are at higher risk of serious illness from COVID-19.
Children with certain conditions are at higher risk of serious illness from COVID-19, which may lead them to being seriously unwell and having to go to hospital. There is no need to arrange an appointment. NHS Scotland will contact the parents/carers of children who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.
To help raise awareness of this offer for children aged 6 months to 4 years, PHS has provided social media assets and suggested captions for you to share across your channels, as well as some suggested editorial content. An overview of all resources available can be found via the Stakeholder Toolkit - COVID-19 Vaccines - 6 months to 4 years
