We are Scotland - Scottish Government’s Community Cohesion Campaign

Supporting community cohesion is a shared endeavour and we are more successful when we work together. 

Three distinct strands of activity will deliver this:

We are Scotland is a humanising, emotive campaign, leveraging Scotland’s inclusive values.  Running on TV, Outdoor poster sites, digital and social media channels it will remind the people of Scotland that we are stronger for the diversity that shapes us. The We are Scotland campaign launches on 27 November and will run until 15 December, with a second burst live in the New Year from 1 to 24 January.

Scotland’s Highlights 2025 – marking St Andrew’s Day on social media with joined-up, mass participation posting of ‘good news’ moments in Scotland over the last year from 28-30 November, celebrating diversity of people, ideas and achievements to demonstrate positive progress and build confidence.

Look out for #ScotlandHighlights2025 social content from partners from across Scotland on social channels, alongside the Brand Scotland Instagram, X, Facebook and LinkedIn channels starting from Friday 28 November.

Cost of Living – this campaign highlights the financial and public service support available through the Cost of Living website, helping address the harder realities of life for many in Scotland and tackling the stigma that still serves often as a barrier to benefit uptake. You can access partner materials here: SG Communications Resource Centre - Cost of Living.
