'Teaching Makes People' - Teacher Recruitment Campaign Launches Today
There is a need to encourage more people to consider becoming a secondary school teacher in Scotland, particularly in harder to fill subjects including the sciences, maths, technology, modern languages and Gaelic.
The ‘Teaching Makes People’ national recruitment marketing campaign will promote secondary school teaching as a career, focusing on reaching undergraduates and recent post-graduates living in Scotland.
The campaign will run from 22 January to 8 March 2026 across TV (video on demand), Cinema, Outdoor and Digital channels.
