Scotland's Climate Week 2024 is nearly here!
As we prepare to launch “Stories for Change” for Scotland’s Climate Week 2024 on Monday 23 September we wanted to remind you of some additional story ideas to help you plan your activity and highlight our social channels which will be bursting with inspiring stories for you to share.
More information on this year's theme can be found via Net Zero Nation here.
Ideas for Creating Your Story
Here are some ideas as to what you could include in your story:
- Inspirational stories - highlight initiatives, events or projects that are making a difference in tackling the climate emergency
- Facts and data - share compelling statistics or research findings from your organisation or field of work that highlight where change is needed
- Personal insights - reflect on what climate change means to you, your organisation and your community
Remember to share your story on your social channels and include #ScotClimateWeek
Re-sharing Stories via Social Channels
An easy way to show your support and raise awareness of the climate emergency and stories for change is to re-share content directly from our social channels Facebook, LinkedIn, X and Instagram.
We have also created a social content calendar which you can use to help you plan the re-sharing of our content directly, or to inspire you to create your own content. We also have many social media assets which we would love you to use.
Reminder of How You Can Help
There are also so many other ways you can get involved in Climate Week 2024:
- Print and display the posters and tent cards and display them in your organisation or local community
- Share the editorial copy via your website, newsletters and emails
- Showcase the actions you are taking around climate change
- Circulate the toolkit across your organisation and networks
Your involvement will help us create a stronger, more informed discussion around climate change, inspiring others to understand and act.
Many thanks for your ongoing support. If you have any questions on Scotland’s Climate Week, please get in touch.
