Help us spread the word – Home Energy Scotland campaign 2025

This autumn, we’re inviting you to support a campaign that can make a real difference to households across Scotland struggling to keep their homes warm this winter.

Many people living in fuel poverty, downplay the impact of cold homes - believing others are worse off or assuming they won’t be eligible for help. This campaign aims to break through that mindset – offering trusted advice and highlighting support that could help improve comfort, health, and energy costs.

Running from 13 October until 27 November 2025, the Scottish Government’s Home Energy Scotland campaign is raising awareness of:

  • Home energy improvements worth over £10,000, available to eligible homeowners to help make homes warmer and cheaper to heat.
  • Support is easy to access: call Home Energy Scotland on 0808 808 2282 or visit homeenergyscotland.org/warmer-home
  • Home Energy Scotland offers free, impartial advice to help you make your home cosier and reduce costs.

The campaign is running on TV, radio, press, digital and social media and PR.
