Reduce emissions, save money, live healthier. New Net Zero Campaign Launch
The Scottish Government has launched a new Net Zero campaign to inspire action across Scotland. Scotland is in a climate emergency, and we are all experiencing the consequences: extreme weather events such as storms, floods and wildfires are affecting our communities and homes.
While 62%* of people feel informed about climate change, most are unsure which actions make the biggest difference. That’s where this campaign comes in.
About the Campaign
The aim of this campaign is to raise awareness and understanding of the two most impactful actions households can take to reduce emissions:
- Drive petrol and diesel cars less
- Install a heat pump
These changes don’t just cut emissions, they bring real benefits: saving money on fuel, improving health through active travel, cleaner air for our communities, and warm, cosy homes all day and night.
The campaign runs from 19 January – 8 March 2026 across TV, digital and social media, radio and outdoor channels.
