Brand Scotland Social Film Launch: Winds of Change

This week sees the launch of the second social film in a series that tells Scotland’s brand story; how our unique mix of head, heart and spirit creates positive progress in the world. This film celebrates Scotland’s beauty, determination and innovation as we grow our green economy. As a member of the Brand Scotland Partnership, the Scottish Government is sharing this with relevant contacts to help spread the word across partner channels.

Do you know that Scotland is in the midst of a green energy revolution? In 2022, for the first time, the equivalent of over 100% of the electricity used in Scotland came from renewables 💚

The reality of decarbonisation is not easy - but it is vital. We knew this when we declared a climate emergency and when we set our net zero targets.  A tough road hasn’t deterred us. Generated from sources including wind, hydro and tidal, our green energy mix has been put into action to address the climate emergency. It also supports more than 42,000 jobs, bringing together the best minds to help reach net zero.

How you can help

We would really appreciate it if your organisations could support the campaign:
