Public Health Scotland 'Vaccines for Students' Stakeholder Toolkit

The new term for Scottish universities and colleges is an important opportunity to remind students of
free vaccinations provided by NHS Scotland.

Today we are sharing the 'Vaccines for Students' Stakeholder Toolkit on behalf of Public Health Scotland.

With term restarting and students starting to mix closely, we want to remind all students of the vaccines they should be up-to-date with and ensure as many students as possible are protected from serious, vaccine preventable diseases.

We would appreciate your help in reminding students that getting vaccinated is the best way to help protect themselves and others. Infectious diseases can spread easily in university and college communities. More face to face contact means there's a higher risk of students catching and passing on infectious diseases. It’s really important for all eligible students to ensure they're up-to-date with their vaccines for:

  • Coronavirus (COVID-19)
  • Measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)
  • Human papillomavirus (HPV)
  • Meningitis ACWY (MenACWY)
